At Immaculate Mary Center, our dedicated recreation department understands the importance of socializing and forging friendships, all while keeping active, which is why they provide our residents with a stimulating variety of recreation programs on an individual and small- and large-group basis. The Director of Therapeutic Recreation plans a monthly schedule of activities, programs and special events, including musical entertainment, games, gardening, craft projects, movies, pet therapy, inter-generational activities and community outings. Additionally, upon admission, our therapeutic recreation staff determines activity interest by completing activities assessments, which are used to develop individualized programs for residents.
